Nat Gillespie has worked as the Assistant National Fish Program Leader for the USDA Forest Service in the Washington, DC headquarters since 2010. His work focuses on policy, aquatic organism passage, partnerships, and communicating the value of the aquatic resource work of the agency. Nat serves as the chair of the Eastern Brook Trout Joint Venture steering committee. He previously worked with Trout Unlimited as a member of their Science Team and as the Eastern Lands Protection Director, and took part in the initial assessment of brook trout populations across the Eastern range in 2005.
